One of my favorites for brunch is Noho Star on Lafayette....been there for years, very consistent. Try the "wake up - shake up" to get your motor runnng.

Curly's 328 E. 14th St. (between 1st and 2nd Ave) New York

A great vegetarian/vegan place that serves delicious and truly delectable brunches. The staff is super attentive, nice and fun. Pros include a small and cozy atmosphere topped with a nostalgic throwback to coloring while waiting for your food to arrive. Try the whole wheat peanut butter banana pancakes and the red velvet cake for dessert. Animal sympathizer or not, Curly's can satisfy everyone's palate.
